Hi guys!
From Meng's official announcement:
"This SS-005 1/35 scale U.S. Cougar 6×6 MRAP Vehicle plastic model kit is 226mm in length and 79mm in width. Two options (Cougar 6×6 or Cougar HEV 6×6 MARP) are provided. Interiors of the cab and troop compartment are perfectly reproduced, providing more options for you."
So, Meng will provide two options to build its Cougar.
Cheers!
Marco

Hi Hisham
From Wikipedia ( )"The first Cougars were called HEV (hardened engineer vehicle), which became JERRV when the Army joined the program, and then MRAP for political reasons when the requirement for many thousands of units was issued."
JERRV = Joint EOD Rapid Response Vehicle.
I guess there's a typo in Meng description (MARP instead of MRAP )

I have the British 4X4 version with Slats from Cromwell Armour in my stash so I will cobble the two together (I hope) and come up with a satisfactory end product.

I truly hope we get the parts for both the regular cougar and the JERRV. The JERRV would make sense with all the other EOD stuff they are releasing..
