I just painted a panther D WITH AMMOPAINT. I USED DUNKELGELB 44 dg1.Is this color accurate it s certainly not the same as tamiya dark yellow.Any info would be appreciated

There's a bunch of shades to that dark yellow color . From say middle stone to to dark yellow .so you can't go wrong with what you choose . The german words nach master means no samples provided . So no paint sample take what you like .

I agree, I've used them all, initially I thought it was too dark, but then I've used Life color which I thought was too light but with the lack of color photo's who knows. And on top of that it usually gets layered in filters and washes so the end always looks different anyway, plus you can lighten or darken it with weathering.
