Hi Gang,
I just discovered the Caiman MTV. I have the idea (too many ideas to make, sigh) of converting Trumpeters FMTV into a Caiman MRAP. Now the engine hood of the Caiman MTV seen easier to build than the hood of the original Caiman. Will the MTV become the standard version of the Caiman family?
Thanks
H.-H.

BAE Systems is upgrading the existing fleet of Caiman MRAP in US service to MTV standards :

In the meantime, local police forces get some :

On a side note, did you know there was a 1/72nd scale kit of this MRAP ?

@ Frenchy
thanks for the link, the drawing of the resin kit is an invaluable help!
@ Hisham
Interestingly, Trumpeter asked me for materials on the Caiman
some years ago. I start the conversion when I found a reasonably priced FTMV kit. So maybe will will an announcement for 2015 Nuremberg show.

Without haveing looked at it up close, I'd say you might have to sacrifice a set from an M-ATV kit for that. Can you say "Kinetic?"

There is an M-ATV from Panda and one from Kinetic that can be "sacrificed".
