the start was with the basic sceme of trenches with cardboard
and added some earth on it

then i put the planks from balsa and wigs from trees
then the pokes and sandbags from plasticine(painted with a mix of white glue and pigments for the oil danger )and the others, barbed wire, earth, etc
cheers

Hi Dimitris

I think that's pretty impressive.
I like the way you made the groundwork and added it up to different heights.

Great and compact scene, I really like it.
Negatives are shiny elements and partly out of scale sands or sands sticking strangly to sand bags, IMO

Well done

There is an aweful lot of work in this ,that's for sure! It took me a long time just to look at everything, let alone build it! It would take me about 20 years to build all of this.
Nicely done. It really puts into view the atmosphere of 1914-18.

Dear Dimitris,

What an amazing piece of work. So much to see and discover. That is what I really like about a good diorama and yours fulfills my 'like' criteria easily.
