Don Haney shares with us a story of "All Bout Da Bones"... an M1A1 Abrams from 3rd Platoon, Alpha Company, 1-64 Armored Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, a vehicle used during the April 7th, 2003 Thunder Run into Baghdad, Iraq.
The moment I saw Don''s build log of this fantastic 1/35 scale model on our forums, I knew it would make an amazing feature article. Don was kind wnough to accept my invitation and write a full build story for Armorama. Thanks Don!

Don, you have created an incredible work of art that honors the men who fought during OIF 1. Your work will be viewed and enjoyed by many for years to come. I am stationed at Fort Stewart and look forward to the reopening of the museum. Please let me know if you will be attending the opening, I would like to shake your hand.

Modern stuff is not my usual area of modelling interest, but I too doff my hat to you in recognition of a superbly completed model. True "museum quality" and great that it is going to be displayed there.

Hi Mario, Hi Don,
Don, you have provided a great article with useful reference pics, and definitely you made a great job !
I like very much the stowage arrangement and the weathering.
