When I was spraying the AK primer on my junk model, I noticed that it didn't cover the surface smoothly. After it cured, it shows a ton of mysterious tiny specs as you can see. Is it gone bad?

It seems to be separating right? Really runny at times and those specks? I had the same problem recently and was wondering the same thing.

It doesn't seem to adhere to the surface when it hits it. I sprayed AK's grey primer on a plastic milk jar, it ran like water.

What psi did you spray at? Typically the acrylics need very light coats at a much lower psi (i spray @ 15-18psi) than solvent based paint. Any higher and they tend to separate and roll off/ bead up.

Hello,

had only problems with AK/MIG colours. Solution was Gunze Thinner (The Dark Blue).

Cheers

Various psi values. I've been shooting acrylics for 3 years and this is the only time I'm having an issue with them.

BTW, I bought 3 AK primers about 10 months ago and they sprayed beautifully back then.
