Greetings fellow modellers.
After showing you my 3rd and 4th finished model, I stumbled upon the pics of the 2nd one I managed to finish. It's a Panzer IV I did a few months ago and it was a present for my brother.
Dragon kit, build OOB. I know I messed up a top of the turret with a little bit too dark pigment but in reality it's not so noticeable as in photos. Not sure if I overdid the chipping.
Anyway, here are the pics, so please comment and criticise to help me improve.

That's a great looking build, Doodeck. Honestly, I would not have noticed the turret top if you hadn't pointed it out. Very nice work.

Doodek,
One other thing I did just notice is that the front end seems very clean compared to the sides and especially the back. I would suggest a less mud on the back and much more on the front.

Hi Mark, thanks for pointing that out for me. I think I must get rid of that rookie excitement when the model is almost finished and calm myself down to avoid such mistakes.

Doodeck, I know exactly what you're talking about! That urge to get it done and start the next project becomes nearly irresistible!

Again, a pretty nice build Sasa. I've no problem with the turret top, and the chipping looks good. Overall, it's a very respectable, especially build considering it's your second.

Here are a few things I noticed that could be addressed. -- The coax MG barrel needs to be gunmetal in color (the actual barrel, not the armor shield). -- There is, as pointed out a problem with the mud on the back. It doesn't look bad on the lower third, but is overdone in the middle, and non existent towards the top. Also, there's no build up where one would expect, like the horizontal flat surfaces and tops of the adjuster housings. Agree that there should be some mud on the front, too. -- Next, you show a dark colored mud on the back and lower hull sides, but virtually none on the wheels and sprockets. -- Speaking of the wheels, the pics show that you have a number of road wheels floating above the tracks. Also, the tracks seem to be floating off the top of the idlers.

Hope these observations help.

Excellent build, for a 2nd, 7th or 8th! Others have pointed out several shortcomings. I will address a couple of issues I see. In the first photo, the tracks seem to be at an odd angle on the idler. There should be a bit more track sag, between the return rollers. I would be very happy with how this one turned out.

Oops! Messed that sentence up royally! It should read: "Overall, it's a very respectable build, especially considering it's your second."

Thank you guys for comments and observations
Well, the tracks was my first time experience with link by link tracks so I guess you can imagine how my hands were shaking. Glued them in sections with liquid cement and was afraid to press them more to produce sag.
About the mud, to tell you the truth, my idea was to try to represent more dust and less mud, something like dried dirt. Darker pigment was planned to make some sort of color variation of dirt. And then the rookie thought "well, lets try to blow some dilluted pigment with a straw to see will it look like the tank went through the puddle of mud"...and voila...illogical dirt
