I am planing to build a diorama which depicts the Angolan Civil war and the Cuban involvement. So there will be Russian armor and some south African armor in the scene. My question is,
Are there any semi-arid landscape foliage available in 1/35 scale .I don't think regular static grass is tall and thick enough. what I have in mind is like a dried a maize or corn plant but wild,

Busch Modellspielwaren fom Germany has an interesting range of small plants in HO scale. Maybe some of the could be "coverted"
into African plants.

A good option is the use of plastic plants, which are sold in animal or aquarium shops. Cheap and a lot of choise.
