Happy for IDF modelers for this new kit, added to so many high quality IDF 1/35 models released in the passing 2-3 years.

Enjoy

The kit still has the ammo box holder for the Raphael OWS. Is the ammo box standard or is the ammo belt feed more common?

Good morning,

No, not really; the most common is a feed chute, closely followed by a ammo belt. Rarely would you see an ammo box. The lack of a feed chute would be my only gripe about this kit. There is an opportunity there for an after-market company... Anyone?

Yah, pretty common just to use the belt, easy peasy!:

Looks good. I wonder if they will be boxing up the interior to use in their previous kit. Does anyone know if the interiors are the same on both versions?

Hey Gino,

Yes, the modification of the suspension, was done on about half of the fleet, without touching the interior.
Another point is, that vehicles vary one from the other by removed Toga plates, location of OWS, location and method of securing the towing cables, type of armored shel for the commander, firing port on rear ramp door, usin 3 types of towing front horns, antena mast for jammer, additional spare track links location, location and type of front lights and much more.
In other words, the configuration of each vehicle is DIFFERENT, so it is easier for the modeler, as any combination may be right.

My two cents

Thanks Michael. That sounds like it will be easier to make any vehicle you want. Hopefully Meng will offer the interior as a separate kit like they do for their M3A3 Bradley.

That would be awesome if they were to offer the interior separately. I've got the "early" kit and would really like to do the interior.
