My Iwata Neo seems to have stopped working, I am getting no real air flow through the airbrush. It will hardly spray water. I have stripped it down cleaned it fully, even run it through the ultra-sonic cleaner a few times, and same issue. I know it is not the compressor as I can run my Eclipse now problem.
Any thoughts?

No air pressure through airbrush?

I have a strange question for you, is the trigger stiff action wise? If it is I had a similar issue which was cured by lubricating the needle, I know that does not make a lot of sense but give it a try.

Unfortunately not the issue, even without the needle in, the airflow is very low. Even with the compressor turned up to 50psi, almost like it is plugged in the air path.

Kevin, how about if you unscrew and remove the nozzle completely... Can you then blast air through it normally? That would point to a problem with the nozzle, possibly some tiny particle stuck in there?

Kevin, I had similar problem, it was caused by the nozzle cap being clogged with paint just around the nozzle. Clean it and you are good to go I hope

Perhaps the spring loaded air inlet valve is either blocked or malfunctioning. I don't usually take this assembly apart on my Iwata but it may account for the lack of air flow.

Even with the cap and tip off there is limited airflow. I took the valve out, and there seems to be good airflow through it.

I'd check the hose, moisture trap or regulator.rubber interior of hose may have failed, moisture trap, regulator could be plugged.

The other issue I have had is that the trigger has not seated correctly on top of the air valve and so air flow is greatly reduced.

Are you sure you have the right nozzle? I had this problem by mounting a medium size nozzle on a big size needle

Um, maybe it is plugged in the air path?
Its not the compressor or the hose since you can run your other airbrush. It has to be in the plunger or whatever it's called that the trigger is pushing down on. That may end up being an internally built part that is unserviceable. Good thing you got a second airbrush!

Check to make sure the air path tube is not clogged with gunk.

Have you tried using your second airbrush to shoot air through the various parts of your Neo? I would try to determine where exactly the AB is blocked up and then move on from there.

Have tried everything, cleaned out air passages I can get into, and nothing. Well I guess time for a new airbrush. The Iwata Neo Trigger one look nice.

Had the same problem
Strip it down not just remove the needle and use ultra-sonic cleaner and clean every hole with a brush you use clean in between teeth.
You may of tip the brush at the angle brush used 7 o clock to 9 o clock

I may have gotten somewhere, I took the valve out, ran it throught the ultra sonic again, and the air improved a bit. But in the process I have also notice the tip seems to be split, and widened just a tad, and could possibly be blocking air through the cap. So I will buy a new tip and see if that will resolve the issue, $20 is better then $150.

Then, something is wrong with the valve or the pressing the trigger does not open the valve.

I've never owned an Iwata, but I had a similar problems years ago with a Badger. There was an O ring in the air valve that had perished, so when I pressed the trigger the O ring was not moving to allow air to flow. $0.25 for a new O ring and it worked perfectly..
