The African Union likely still have some in service. 100 Grizzlies were apparently "loaned" to the AMIS (African Union In Sudan) mission in 2005 to avoid issues with Foreign Military Aid. The loan was supposed to be for a one year period. I am not sure if the Grizzlies actually returned to Canadian soil after the one year period expired. They are all late version Grizzlies. Some have the add-on armour mounts and others don't. The add-on armour was not fitted.





A couple were destroyed in combat. One from an RPG and one rammed an enemy "technical" and caught fire after the turret guns jammed.
