I really liked the initial 1/35 scale releases from Assault Models, but with the modern Brits the company raised the bar even higher. This review describes the first figure from a pair of British Paras from Afghanistan (AM35003).

That was my first thought when I saw the painted figures as well... amazing how real they look. I asked Pavel some questions about his painting, and I would really like to run a feature about his techniques. We'll see how it goes.
