Hello all!

A friend recommended this compresor:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005GMCMJO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A36JFHSAZ9ON7R

Is this a good option? I will be just using it for modelling and also I have a BADGER model 150-4.

Thanks!

Sorry, but I wouldn't. If your going to get a compressor , get a "man" compressor not a girls. lol jk'n
This is mine , a Paasche with a moisture trap. Cheap & long lasting.

Badger also makes good , cheap compressors. This one is a mini 1/6 hp.

PSS- You already have a Badger????? You don't need another.

That is correct, IMHO, David. I use a Master brand, exact replica of depicted Paasche. 1/4 hp, oil free, water trap, regulator and airbrush with hose and fittings, all bought for USD 70 + Shipping. No trouble whatsoever if used as advised. Warm Regards.

Hehehe! Good one!

The Bagder product is the airbrush. Can you send me a link of a suggested compresor in Amazon?

Also, notice that i will be importing it so weight does matter!

My preference is for compressors with tanks. Once they fill up, you have a decent amount of use time before it restarts to fill again. Also, a tank "buffers" the air so it doesn't pulse like the non-tank types.
Here's one similar to what I have:
http://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools/air-compressors/1-3-hp-3-gallon-100-psi-oilless-air-compressor-97080.html
All that's needed is a small water trap and a set of quick disconnects - both of which are cheap.
Depending on what pressure I spray at, I can go 10-15 minutes between compressor starts. I've even gone for a half hour or more on just one tankful if I shut off the switch after the first fill.

I got a California Air tools unit
http://www.californiaairtools.com/ultra-quiet-oil-free-air-compressors/1-0-hp-air-compressors/cat-3010/
Very quiet and good capacity, also use it for some of my smaller air tools.

. That will even power the nailers , but it does not have enough muscles to drive pneumatic drills and grinders .
