It's from the 2014 AJAX Scale Model Contest...you can see the AJAX registration form in the background of the second pic.
If you don't find out anything here, I'd suggest contacting the contest organizers and perhaps they can put you in touch with the modeller.

Wow, fantastic work!
Jason, you assume that everyone can conclude all that from the word "Ajax"? I certainly would not have had a clue what that stood for in its entirety. :-)

I'm a firm believer of giving credit where credit is due, and I hope the builder of this work credited Bill Horan and his "Ghosts of Chilianwalla" diorama.
The build of the US Marines not only borrows Horan's composition, it also borrows his title.
But as they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...
The USMC dio is very well done, though.

I'm having a hard time confirming it but supposedly it's by a guy named Raul Aguiar.
If he actually made it it might feel even more impressive knowing he doesn't have any hands! (thaliomide victim)
Again this is straight from the internet and I cant confirm it. Maybe someone else can pick up the thread

Awesome piece of work.
Must have showed up after I had left the show.
Shame.

THAT......is awesome. One of the best works I've ever seen. It is actually good enough to be one of Horans' IMHO,

I didn't assume anything. I was just trying to help out.I just saw the word Ajax...clearly could see it was taken on a model contest table...and Google searched "Ajax Model Contest"...and Voila...found a variety of galleries that showed pics from the show and located the same diorama pics.

Two very impressive settings, the figures in both look terrific. History has a habit of repeating itself so both sit well in my mind.
Awesome work.
