Hi there!
I want to share my last project of the year, a little vignette based on a photo taken in a small town named Bouconvillers during the French Campaign in 1940.
I used the old but reliable Tamiya bicycle, with some modifications to make it as similar as possible to the one in the picture (ie brakes, front mudguard, gear etc).
The figure is a combination of two Dragon's german soldiers, the head and arms are from Tamiya..
The groundworkd, the roadsign and the door are scratchbuilt from diverse materials. The insulators in the post are from the Tamiya's set.
Hope you like it.
Cheers

Hi, Thanks for you input. The door is made of actual wood; my father is a ship modeller, so i took some wood flooring strips from his stash. I dyed them with some tints, and once they were dry, i gave to them several washes with browns, ocres and greyish tones to achieve that worn effect.
The hinges are made of a small caliber platic cable, and the iron hardware are made from tin foil.

Cheers
