i thought and built this tank as a training tank somewhere in middle east
it was already in a dusty environment and also was hit by heavy rain and sand-soil mix dried
less talk more pictures (I show only one pic but rest under my member gallery, i already put a link below)

Looks pretty good, couple of comments though. Antennas are way too long. Modern antenni are about 6 feet long, scales out to about 2-2 1/2 inches. Kill indicator light in front of the gunner's sight should be amber. Smoke grenade storage boxes are upside down, they open on the top, not bottom. Helmet needs to come off the crosswind sensor, it is a rather delicate piece of equipment that cannot be blocked for the fire control system to work properly. What is holding the spare road wheel onto the turret top? It should be moved to the grunt rails on the side and bolted down. On the rear, only the middle grill section is exhaust. Both the right and left side are fan covers and should be the color of the hull. Lastly, to complete your MILES set-up ( Hoffman device, .50 Cal blank adapter, kill indicator light), you should add some miles reciever belts. They are belts that go on the turret and are about 1/32' wide in scale with black circles at about 12" intervals for the actual laser recievers. They can be seen here on another Abrams model with MILES. With these corrections, it will look great.

hmm...
yes antennas definetely look suspicious to me too last week but i needed an experts opinion so i left them like this.Thanks.
i bolted down that spare roadwheel but it is not clear in the pictures i guess
also i painted the kill indicator amber but it is lightened when i did the wash with oils ( thinner's trick)and it is not amber in the picture or not looks like

you are talking about boxes bolted on both sides of the turret , yes they open on top.
may be the bad pictures tricked you

about the exhaust grill; right side is totally replaced but not painted to hull color just left with black primer on (but i found some errors with that perspective in the pictures too) I will fix them tomorrow. (i saw couple m1a2 and m1a1 pictures with notpainted grills and also slightly rusted)

I will work on the MILES System next week or maybe later because I am going back to college :-)

thank you for the kind comments
(PS: just to mention I am not a rivet counter and doing modelling just for my fun time )

Nice one! Who's the manufacturer for this kit? I find it also that the antennas are way too long. The tracks are kinda clean for a desert warrior.

Maybe a bit more weathering would do the trick especially on the tracks. Nice job.
