I finished all 3 tracks I was assigned to for the 'Thunder Run" diorama going into the new Ft. Stewart Museum. I wasn't happy with the end products, but hearing the comments from the actual crew members of these beast is the only approval I need.
These 3 tracks were recreated by photo's from the actual crew members and video's taken on April 5th, 2003.

C65 was the last vehicle in the column that day. The blue plate on the front left fender was from an ambulance they accidentally hit days before and the missing rear right taillight was ripped off by a thrown track during training exercises weeks before the "Thunder Run."
R12 was part of the infantry unit crossed attached to the armored unit. The company was located behind Alpha company at the beginning of the column.
HQ66 was the Brigade Commander track. It carried an embedded TV crew. it was located towards the end of the column also.

Brilliant!! You really captured the "feel" of the times and the weathering is some of the most accurate I've seen for desert type action. The stowed/hung gear on the sides is especially nice.
We in our humble HMMVs always stowed our gear inside to avoid getting all that dirt on it. A luxury not available to the Mech guys.
Was this Bde Cmd track the one with Kelly from Fox News on it?
I remember watching that one live at the time.

Amazing work Pete the weathering and worn tracks really show the wear this equipment sustained.
