I am starting up another modeling portal. Nothing like Armorama of course. This one is a portal for quality modeling sites that share common goals and interests in promoting the hobby and providing core resources for modelers online.

www.kitmaker.net

The site is of course looking for potenial partners and associate sites. If you think your site might be one that would be a good addition to the network please check out the Join the Network area of the site. Keep in mind this is going to be a limited association of sites so we are going to be rather selective in who is part of the network. Sites don't have to have stellar "designs" but being well organized and presenting considerable modeling resources will be what we are looking for.

Thanks,
Jim

I agree with Slodder. From now on when we congratulate Jim we shouldn't send virtual beers, we shoud send virtual cups of coffee.

Just out of curiosity Jim, when I clicked on this link it didn't open another web, it went right to it. How come?

You mean it didn't open a new browser window? That is just the way the link is set up.

Code:
<a href="http://www.site.com" target="_blank">Link</a>

This opens a new window. Leave of the target= part and it doesn't. Since KitMaker has a link to Armorama it doesn't make sense to force a pop-up.

Thanks for the kind words guys. As to time I am sorely missing it.

Cheers,
Jim

Jim, I just double checked and no, when I click on the www.kitmaker.net link on your original post it goes directly to it. It doesn't open a new window. At least not on my system at home or here.
