50TH JUBILEE NATIONALS

MAFVA are pleased to announce that the 2015 MAFVA Nationals will take place on Sunday June 21st (Father’s day) at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford.
As in previous years the event will be held in a large marquee adjacent to the American Air Museum, with traders lining the sides, branch & club displays down the middle, and the competition tables. There will be differences this year as there will not be a Military Vehicle Show, and there will be a re-organisation occurring in the American Air Museum. It is hoped that we can grasp the opportunity to enhance the show and provide a bit ‘extra’ for our members in our Jubilee year. It will at least allow the enthusiast to get up close and personal to the resident vehicles of the Museum & D.A.S.

Competition classes and entry details are expected to remain as before, but full details will be published on the MAFVA website in due course. Once again, Tracey at Armourfast will be sponsoring the Junior classes. The popular favourites such as the MAFVA Tea Stall and the Bring & Buy stall will be running to add to the experience , but at the moment nothing is set in stone, so there will be other possible highlights.
