My thanks for a very concise and honest review of this kit. I’ve always had a soft spot for this vehicle and on and off thought of using an M-113 to try and scratch build one. The rather large pour plug on the bottom of the body is common with many resin kits but also disappointing to see. The body inaccuracies, fit issues with parts that you mentioned and cost also cause me to pause. On the other hand based on your pictures, the detail of the moulding looks very good and that’s not always the case with resin kits.

Jan, I suppose the hull shape issues should all be dealt with right at the start, probably while that pour block is still in pace, and re-shaping isn't in fact too difficult with a block of resin like this, as it is so easy to file. Care would be needed while working to avoid damaging the quite fine rear track guards... It's quite easy to chip a corner off...
