Just curious if I am alone on this one. Just got this kit for Christmas and once again Dragon has used the hull with the molded on suspension arms and the connected wheels. They used this set-up on the Cyber Hobby orange box early Tiger 1. Personally I really hope this isn't going too be the norm with them. I pre-ordered 2 of the upcoming early Wittman Tigers and considering the price I will be pissed if they use this set up. Considering they have the molds from the other Tiger kits this is lame. Other companies are going to catch up real fast if they continue this crap.

I got this kit delivered the other day but I didn't notice the connected wheels. I can see that this allows them to mold the wheels without mold seams or a cutoff nub, which saves a lot of work. If the connectors don't show - good idea! If the connectors do show - BAD IDEA! Maybe if they explained the engineering reasoning behind it, we could understand it.
But if I just paid $65 for a Dragon Tiger I with a Matchbox suspension, I'm gonna be reeeeeaaaaallll angry.

Hello,
they won`t use them: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10293341n6/40/6 They used the wheels of the mid-Tiger Kit with the name "Fulda" instead of "Continental". Furthermore the connectors between the wheels are replicated. My problem is (like in the 1st Wittmann Kurks Kit), that you can only build a Tiger with the late Feifel filters, not with the early ones!

My understanding is that Tiger H2 should be the "end of the line" for a lot of the old Early Tiger sprues. The Wittman Tiger is a "reboot" that can set the standard for their future Early Tigers.
But, do let Dragon know what you think! These kinds of decisions are made each time a kit is designed.
