I have just picked up Military Modelling - Euro Militaire 2003 Special 100 page issue. In it, among many excellent models, is Douglas Lee's incredible diorama depicting the last charge of Polish lancers against German panzers. This diorama was voted Best of Show and I can see why. I know this particular dio had been discussed in the forums but I just wanted to let everyone know about this particular magazine. If you have a chance, pick it up. It is worth it.

I see the models and dioramas in Spanish Euro Modellissimo Magazine.I didnt understand a word but photos were great. Polish lancers diorama was really suberb, I especially liked the detail the tank they attack was carrying a polish military roadsign on the hull.The diorama of Japanese soldiers swimming with kids was also great...but my favorite is the groundwork on the 101st Dalmatian.

I have bought the 100 page special of the Euromilitaire too. Brilliant entries and truely inspirational. In the issue after the 100 page special, Douglas Lee explains how he did his "Best of Show" winning dio. He did sculpt all the horses self and a lot of the figs were scratchbuilt or sculpted by himself. Funny news is that he has sold the figures to warriors and they will make a 2 figure set out of it.
