Hey,
I've recently purchased the ICM's set of Austro Hungarian Infantry (35673) and I'm wondering which Vallejo colour would be most suitable for their uniforms. As a citizen of one of the countries that once belonged to that particular monarchy, I have a bunch of photo references of the pike gray that was used in the early phases of the war, but I can't seem to find the right colour from the Vallejo pallete I'm usually using. Any ideas?
I won't be able to reply immediately as I'm away for the next couple of days.
Cheers!

I'm doing the same set (fantastic figures - among the best I've seen in styrene) and researched uniform colors. From what I've seen on the internet from colored illustrations, colorized postcards, and re-enactors/modern replicas, the color is a very light blue with a hint of gray, sort of baby blue. As with all uniforms of all periods, colors varied slightly due to dye batches, fading, etc. Don't know what Vallejo color number as I don't use those paints. I used (as base) Ice Blue from Citadel.
