Tamiya offers an unusual release with a civilian car adopted for military use, the Toyota AB Phaeton. Here is a look at how it builds up.

It's funny that Tamiya, who make 1/24 car kits with chromed parts, can't make a 1/35 car kit with chromed parts!

Darren, thanks for getting this up so fast.
Gentlemen, thank you for the comments. This was a fun kit to build, and based on the few I have seen online, gives the modeler many possibilities. There was even a cigarette lighter/promotional tool offered of this car, with a two tone silver/black body and burgundy interior.

Russ, your paint mixture and overall build are exceptional! Great looking model! So many possibilities. I can see you breaking your your IJA camo set by Vallejo and impressing this into service with your Type 95 Ha-go.

Thanks, Fred. I was hoping I might find somewhere a photo of one painted up in a camouflage pattern. Dave O'Meara once posted a photo of some type 95 trucks from the Aleutians campaign in camouflage, complete with the yellow disruptive stripe.
