Hello guys. I'm about to start building a DML Mid-production Brummbar with zimmerit and have recently finished the old Late Production Tamiya Tiger I. I don't own an airbrush and the paint schemes I've seen so far all utilize wavy lines that have a soft edge to them. Question is - is it possible to do a decent soft camo pattern without the use of an AB? I usually use vallejo acrylics and have a couple of old paintbrushes.

Well, anyone have any ideas If it really can't be done, I'll just have to save for an AB then.

Those old posts should give you plenty of food for thought. I haven't had a chance to test out some theories I have as yet, hopefully in the next week or two. You'll need to experiment and get creative, it can be done but just not as easily as with an airbrush.

Nice Tiger - is this your work? Could you share how you managed to do the soft camo?

Hi,
no, itīs not mine. This model was made by Brent Watterson . He builds wargame models to a high standard. His technique IIRC consists in drybrushing the soft-edge of the camo.
