Hi and welcome here Alex

Not a lot to say on your dio right now as it is far from finished. Going from here this could be a masterpiece,.... or not
So we wait for some more details and see where you are heading

Non, désolé, I am complete ignorant in all armour related things, I hardly know what a Wiesel is.

Others can probably be of more help

Welcome to the forum fellow modeler first of all. Nice to see new people here.
I would say to use figures from the 1980s or even 70s as I think these are older vehicles? I saw a lot of them on the ranges at Baumholder in the 80s getting ready to be used as targets on the live fire ranges as they were obsolete even then.
Of course,I could be wrong(and frequently am,according to my girlfriend)

Salut to Armorama Alex.
Could you tell which version of the Wiesel 2 this is? Is it 1/35 scale Revell kit? The color used for the basic green is wrong, Bundeswehr Bronzegrün is much more darker. Depending of the colors you prefer, I advice Revell 65 or Tamiya XF-67.
@ J. Rutman The vehicles you refer to are Schützenpanzer kurz. This is despite of optical similarities a totally different vehicle.
Cheers
H.-H.

Vous devez utiliser les Tamiya XF-67 OTAN Vert. C'est une excellent choix.

Et pour les figures, utiliser de Black Dog figures.

Hey there.

Its a lot nicer than my first diorama! As for the landscape, I think you can do better. I would recommend overhauling it as much as possible without damage to the base. use real dirt from your garden. just let it dry out and sprinkle over the base in patches on top of some diluted white glue. let it dry and blow off the excess. repeat if you want more depth. then thin some different colours of earth browns and paint the dirt. then I would recommend either Some Heki grass (google it) or some static grass and sprinkle over using some variation and some exposed dirt. scatter a couple pepples from your garden (not too much). Don't over do it. Try not to rely too much on your imagination, use some pictures as references and then work from that. I know its your first. but I trust you can do it much better!. Give it a go.

Cheers.
