Hi all,
I came across a set of two SGMB made by a Russian brand Hobby Planet and wondered whether it were worth being used for the Trumpeter BTR-50PK which definitely misses a MG.
Thanks for your input.

Olivier,
I don't know about the Hobby Planet items but there is a perfectly acceptable SGM within the Zvezda 1:35 Soviet Assault Group Koengigsberg (this was the Italeri kit.
All it really needs is say, a Milliput spent cases bag and a stock if desired; I have used this on a BRDM 1 and it is, in my opinion, just fine.
I hope to install a further one on my own BTR 50 in due course.
Regards,
Brian

Olivier,
Apologies for the delay; I thought I had some photographs readily available but that is not the case. If you send me a pm with your personal e-mail I will endeavour to get some to you but give me around 24 hours. I am not too sure how to post photos on this site but am capable of attaching some to an e-mail (I think!)
Sorry again for the delay.

Brian

Salut Olivier
Tank Models has released a SG-43 (the WW2 MG the SGMB is based on) that may be worth considering...
Here's a webshop that has it in stock :

Olivier,
Where do you get Hobby Planet stuff from? Used to have a supplier in Germany but they have less stock now.
Cheers,
Christophe

The TanK MG A-84 is superb I bought several along with the infantry AA version and a few 12.7 mm Kords. Good stuff, keep them away from your carpet monsters though theres a few RERALLY small pcs...
