Impressive work, but why 1:5 - theres a lot of available fitting and even complete panthers i 1:6 that would make sense ?

I really don't know why, i think it was, when he started to build the tank ( many years ago) it was that he could buy the rubber on the wheels and the tracks in 1/5 scale...
When he started the build it was not popular with 1/6 scale , i don't even remember if you could buy things in that scale then... (As i said , it's a long time since he started to build the model)

1/5 and 1/6 are typical RC scales
