I tried Vallejo paints for the first time recently. And while I love how easy they are to work with and how well they go on by brush or airbrush, I've noticed that, even after the paint has cured for over a week, it scratches and rubs off very easily, even when I'm very careful. I've been modeling for over thirty years and I've never experienced this with any other paints. Is there something I should know about to prevent that from happening, or is that just the way Vallejo paints are?

Are you using a primer, and how much are you thinning? The only times I've had issues are when I haven't given a thorough coat with Vallejo primer first and/or I've thinned with too much water. Also, a clear coat is almost a must if you're not doing that already.
