Hi guys! Need a little bit of help. I want to do a diorama centered around this figure set from Airborne Miniatures.

I am having a hard time trying to find out what vehicles the US Navy SEALS are using in Afghanistan or Iraq in the last few years. I was thinking the 4x4 Cougar MRAP but I don't know if that's correct. RG-31 maybe? Don't know.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

Actually, the Number One SEAL transport vehicle would be a MH-47E as most SEALs were deployed via air for Direct Action missions, not via ground.

If you want a ground vehicle, the Number One vehicle would be the M-ATV because the M-ATV has the MRAP protection with the speed and mobility of a 4X4 in a much smaller size. The M-ATV was the preferred tactical assault vehicle in the final days of the wars due to its small size and adequate armor protection.

I believe the vehicles that SEAL's are using are the RG-31 SOCOM, M-ATV SOCOM, M1114/M1151 based Ground Mobility Vehicle (GMV), various versions of polaris atv's and side by sides.

If you have some scratch build skills, the seals use/ used also a GMV.

Or maby Legend Productions wil release this one maby?! Hopefully

Thanks for the help guys! I have a few different ideas now. In fact one of them is to use my Meng M2A3 Bradley. I read a story somewhere about SF guys gets picked up in urban areas by Bradleys for the return ride to the base.

Ciro - would you still like me to post photos? My figures arrived in the mail on Friday. They look fantastic. Hope my painting does them justice.

Thanks again
Mike
