IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED...
IDEAS.
THE GROUP BUILD COULD BE CENTRED AROUND EXPERIMENTAL CAMO SCHEMES, USING RLM COLOURS AVAILABLE, LATE WAR.
OR ANY SECRET CONCEPT AIRCRAFT FROM ANY OF THE SIDES, ALLIED OR AXIS.
CATEGORIES COULD INCLUDE FIGHTERS, DESTROYERS, RECCONS, BOMBERS ETC.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?
CHEERS

Peter, I'm in as I love concept aircraft!!! As well as armour. But I think some maybe a little weary of the subject proposed. Please bear with alot of the members here and put the emphasis on stuff like ALLIED experimental equipment as well. stug

Hi Steve,
thanks for the reply. As I'm relatively new to the site (and if this thing flies, I'm a Group Build virgin), I wouldn't know if members are weary of this subject.
But to broaden the attraction, if I could share my thoughts....
1. Time line- War to War, WW2 1939 to the end of the Korean War 1953.
This would give a huge scope of subjects from Prototype Messerschmit 109's to MiG 15's.
2. Subject- Any secret, concept or experimental aircraft design from the period.
3. Air Forces- All countries that were involved in either or both wars.
4. Type of build- As it seems to be a current topic - Modelling on the cheap, how about OOTB, with only one AM decal sheet to help with swastikas and markings of any particular subject selected. Raids on spares box and scratch built parts OK.
5. Camo- Any actual or experimental schemes allowed. As long as any experimental scheme is based on the pallete of colours used by the air force of the chosen subject.

So far thats two of us. And Merlin might join in, he was the one that suggested a GB of this type. Let's hope so.

Where do we go from here?
Cheers
Peter
