Hey Everyone, I just got a DML T-72M2 and 2 ERTL/ESCI T"74" from a dear friend and I was wondering if I could use any of these to depict a vehicle in the 2014 Crimean Crisis or Syrian Civil War. Also, if it is also possible, may I ask for pictures of either a Syrian or Crimean Crisis vehicle. Thank you everyone

Hello. I live in the Crimea. We have, during all of these events of armored vehicles only BTR-80 and Tigers were. Tanks there weren't any. Stood on one of the bases of the Ukrainian T-64 BV, but they just stood, as it were terrible condition. So do the T-72 on the Syrian conflict

You mean in the Crimea? Well now we have T-72 tanks, but they appeared after we became part of Russia.

T-72M2 is an archaic name for a T-72B mod 1984. It has not been used in Ukraine or in Syria. There have been plenty of Russian supplied T-72B mod 1990, and T-72B mod 1989 used in the fighting in Ukraine.

@JPhilips: Tanks with GoPros, I love it =D thanks.
@DerGeist: Thanks for your help. If it is alright with you, may I ask you 2 more questions?
If T-72B mod 1984 weren't used in Crimea or Syria, which theater should I depict with my DML T72M2, preferably in a theater after 2009?
Is there a possibility I can modify my DML T 72 M2 into a vehicle that was used in the Crimea or Syria. I have 2 ESCI T 74s I can cannabalize parts from. Thank you for your help.

You're aware those are ancient, terribly innacurate kits aren't you? Especially the T-74.
Cheers,
Christophe

@C_JACQUEMONT: I'm shuddering at the thought of building the T 74, but the kits were free and I didn't want to hurt my friend's feelings. Any ideas on how I can detail and upgrade the T 74 and maybe even the DML 72?

Sorry I forgot to add this to my original post, but the reason I am taking this project on is because I just saw Trumpeter's new T-72 kit and they featured markings for a vehicle in the Crimean Crisis, thus I was wondering about the feasibility of this option. Thanks again everyone.
