Just got mine a little while ago.. and looking at the first couple of pages of the instructions, I can tell that this will be a joy to build compared to Panda's kit

Hisham, what about full review? Not only some pages from instructions.

Start the build with the boarding steps?!... What a brilliant idea...

Actually, Pawel.. after building the suspension of the Panda kit, this is actually better and easier than trying to fit the steps in place after cementing the suspension parts.. At least this is my opinion after trying it the other way
I don't care what anyone might say about this kit, after what the Panda kit put me through.. this will be a perfect kit in my eyes

Well, I would brake them at least three times during the build if I attach them at the beginning...

Did you build Panda's kit yet?
Nope, not yet... And now I may never build it if it would turn out to be underscale... But it may still turn out that the Meng kit is overscale and it would be a real shame

Well, for me.. "overscale" is much more tolerable than "nerve wrecking"

Nah... After the M103A1 trauma every other kit will be a relaxing experience for me

Hisham going from the instructions is there any difference between the HEV variant and the normal variant? OR are they in essence the same vehicle?

I'm sorry, Alex, I haven't had time to go over the whole instruction booklet.. just barely had time to scan those pages that I posted.. just wanted to have a quick look at how the suspension goes together.. maybe later this evening

Thanks Hisham, what do you think of the kit, does the parts look nice? Do you have any photos of the instruction of the exterior and turret building?
For me it does not care if the hood is 3-4 mm to long as you will never see that anyway...

Unless you already have the Panda kit and plan to display both in a single collection, like I do, and the difference in size becomes a serious problem... But I have already discovered that while the Panda kit seems to be correct length, it's certainly too narrow... So it looks like we have two not entirely accurate kits, each in a different way.

[quote]I was just looking at the instructions and I noticed this part at the beginning.. So, the only difference between the HEV (on the right) and the regular 6X6 are the tires on the side and the box right behind the front fender?
And the front bumper, of course
