Hi, again. I'm working on the Academy M-10 Duckbill at the moment, and I'm not sure what the interior colour of the engine compartment is.
Is it the overall interiour colour, or is a different one, please help me out,
Thanks a lot, John.

Check out this page from AFV Interiors: http://afvinteriors.hobbyvista.com/m10/m10a.html
About halfway down the first page is a nice photo and come color info on the interior of that M10.
True, but as a matter of practical experience, I can tell you that gloss white is one of the toughest colors to apply. A semi-gloss (or "satin") finish looks better to my eye in 1/35th scale. My favorite "white" is Testors Model Master "Header White" -- it's a flat, but if I need it glossy or semi-gloss, I can hit it with some Future or gloss lacquer.

kepp in mind that it doesn't take long for a tank engine compartment to get filthy. Oil and grease attract and hold dust which comes in from the grills, add in liberal amounts of water and , well the gloss white ain't so white anymore

I believe anyone who has ever tried painting something gloss white knows that gloss white is a difficult color to work with, especially over something dark. Normally I will spray something that is dark colored (such as a OD green AFV model) with a gray primer and then apply a flat white coat over it. I'd then shoot a light gloss coat over the white and then weather with the appropriate agents to obtain a realistic appearance,
HOWEVER, all he asked was what color the interior of an M10 engine bay was. So I told him. Like I tell my soldiers, "I tell you go go suck the egg, it's your job to figure out how to do it. If I told you, then you'd accuse me of micromanagement."
I figure he knows how to work with gloss white.

Lighten up, Rob. I wasn't taking a pot-shot at you.
I was simply trying to add a little info to the thread that I learned the hard way -- my first try at gloss white was a disaster. We have lots of young modelers on here looking for how-to and tips. Maybe John didn't need my tip, but someone else reading the thread may have found it helpful.
