Hey all, this is Matt Tomlin, just an update for "COVER UP" the dios finished, well not exactly i am just making an adjustmant, i am putting support planks in the sides of my trenches, before i had nothing it was just the wall of a dug out dirt trench, i havr the wooden support planks sittuated like the ones in jrnelsons dio. Sorry for not having pictures , i really am, but i dont have access to digi camera of scanner but for the competion reslults i will make sure i will have plenty of pics, but to give you an idea, its 1944 june 5 D-day. it has a german trench system , with an anti tank gun emplacemant , about 40 metres away a us infantry squad hides in among the trees an bushes ready to assault the germans, however the germans know they are there and are scrambleling to ambush them, while the americans hide around the stream just waiting to take out the anti tank gun, little do they know they are being watched. i call this diorama " SILENT STAIR " all i haveto do is finish the support boards , put in some sand bags around the anti tank gun emplacemant and put in a german flag, it consists of 6 us and 7 germans, a stream, and a gun ammo shelter thats built into the trench wall. its my best one yet however not my best one to come.
