It begs the question: Would there be an interest in the missiles themselves? If so, PAC-2, PAC-3? Both?
Of course I say this without knowing if that setup is still used for the updated missiles. That is not the newest tractor being used.

Yeah PAC-1 was 1980's tech. PAC-2 was used in DS.
The PAC-3 started testing about the time I left Ft. Bliss in late 1999.
Not sure how different the system changed visually. Other than the missile container changed from 1 missile to 4 per.

Why are there so many chaps beatin up on Black Label...? I just received their new Saladin, and it's a nice little kit. moldings are nice, crisp detail, and it dry fits very well.
Just sayin...

Probably because the kit you're talking about is an armoured car with no interior for 50 whole pounds.

Or because all kits in this series before Saladin have accuracy errors, some very serious... As for Saladin or Conqueror we don't know yet, as no one has evaluated their accuracy properly yet.

Anyone heard a release date yet? I think I'm gonna have to get at least three of these for the museum.... plus one or two extras for the HEMTTs so I can put one with my scratchbuilt C-RAM trailer....

The PAC-3 missile is based originally on the sidewinder so it is MUCH smaller than the PAC-2. Hence four per container instead of just one. The PAC-3 is a kinetic kill weapon. It doesn't carry a warhead per se, no explosive.

Looks like Dragon has announced it as a "Black Label" kit available for pre-order - August delivery. Only $120 so not as bad as I had expected. Ordered it last night. Looks pretty impressive. Tires are DS.
