Here are a few shots of my 1/72 Mark I tank by Masterbox.

The kit is pretty nice as far as the plastic and PE parts are concerned, Fit is perfect, and there is an impressive array of surface detail and fine parts like the spring mechanisms on the trailer. The track is the weak point, and not because it is a vinyl track, but because the thick vinyl sprue gates attach along several external surface points. It makes cleaning the track a real pain. Perhaps I performed a modeling heresy by doing so, but I hid the messy parts of the track with weathering.

The model was painted with Vallejo khaki primer and then had different shades of Vallejo olive and khaki paints sprayed on. Weathering was a combination of brown, grayish brown, greenish brown, and tan colors from Vallejo sprayed, and Humbroll drybrushed onto the model and onto the groundwork. Groundwork was made from a hard pink foam covered with wood putty/

The base is a free flooring sample with some veneer stripping added to the side.

Brownish green, Greenish brown, brown, very dark brown, dark grayish brown, very dark brownish gray, very dark grayish brown, grayish dark green brown, brown brown....

Isn't that what mud is for?

The build turned out nice. I like the base you did for it, too.

thanks all,

I'm glad you liked it. I'm tempted to build another braille tank now.
