Trumpeter's 1/35 aerosan was a truly delightful weekend project. I finished the model using Vallejo acrylics and washes, along with a few pigments for the engine. A technique I have found really useful for monochromatic finishes is 1) black primer 2) heavy streaks of main color 3) very thick black wash 4) light streaks of main color. It might not produce the most true-to-life finish in the world, but it looks well-worn and interesting to the eye.
