Need some advice on where to put the decals on the right hand side of my Panzer IV ausf D.
I have not started the kit yet but before I do I just want to plan ahead.

This is the correct left side decal location:


Now would the right side be like this:


or this:


I have been scratching my head on which side would be more appropriate.

I'd go with the 1st option.

That's what I was thinking as it looks more of a copy from the other side.

And it would be far easier to paint the balkenkreuz over a flat surface than on the antenna stowage rack.

That's the option they've chosen at Bovington for their upgunned Ausf D :
