I am trying to start a new topic and am having troubles posting photos. When I click on UPLOAD PHOTOS, beneath the "Ready to Post Your Topic" box, I am directed to my Kitmaker Gallery. The photos I want to upload are there. What do I do now?

Thanks,
Dan

open the gallery in a second tab. find your photo.
right click "copy image location"
go back to your thread
click the last little box on the right below - above the emoticons, img between square brackets.
paste your image location where is says "your url here."

Dude,

Thank you so much. Why the hell do they make it so complicated?

Dan.

I agree it is a challenge, I was just dealing with the same issue. I wanted to delete some old pictures when it said I had exceeded my allowed space. It took me 15 minutes to figure that out..

make it so complicated - where to begin.

using html tags in your posts is a skill everyone should at least understand. the fact that you have to compose tags to format your posts is actually a form of simplicity - to have a one click or drag-and-drop utility would involve, first the web site admin to design or buy that a process that does that, then your computer loading and executing that process to do that function each time, which would take time, and might or might not work properly etc etc.

believe me its better this way.

The gallery does have some issues and is a project that the publisher is looking to improve. Adding the images to posts can be confusing to use first time, but once done it is not difficult.

I agree that it is simple once you know how. It's just that the process is not explained anywhere and a first time user like myself has to inquire on how to upload pics. I'm not a cumoputer geniuss or anything but I do know how to use one and every logical thing I could think of didn't work.

But, like most anything here, the answers one is looking for is only a few key strokes way!

I can understand that Dan, but if you look in the 'User Support' forum you will find a stickied post near the top called Adding pictures to your posts.
