I have finally done what I have been threatening to do for ages and startted a photo resource for the British/Commonwealth modellers. Three galleries have been created and work in the following manner:

1) British/Commonwealth Armour. This contains images of ARMOURED VEHICLES

2) British/Commonwealth SOFTSKINS AND ARTILLERY

3) Modern British Armoured Vehicles. This will contain ALL categories. Artillery, Armour, Softskins etc.

Now, obviously, I have a finite amount of images. So anything you have lying around , UPLOAD THEM! This resource will only work if people contribute. Now there are certain people on the site, who have masses of images (particularly softskins ROO!) who can really make this resource work. Also looking at the other Resource sections, some of them seem pretty under-used so anything people can upload to them would be fantastic..... Thanks are particularly due to Faust for creating the spaces in the first place... ....Jim

Great reference thank you very much Jim!!! The only one problem I see is that if the gallery will grow up significantly, it will be difficult to find what you're looking for if not devided by single vehicle/weapon/ecc.
Ciao

Fabio, yes that had crossed my mind also. In the future, depending on people contributing, we may be able to sub-divide into interest areas, it would be nice to have a folder only on one vehicle. As a matter of fact, I am considering creating a Bradley or Hummvee gallery....I have so many pics.!, thanks for the comments. guys! ....Jim

Yeah! definately much needed part to the site. Good men Jim and faust! Its great to have a good library close to hand when modelling or just talking about specific subjects. If every member loaded up one pic, there could be more than 3000! Hopefully this is just a start. Will be great when callery becomes more comprehensive with other nations as well!. Cheers!

The next gallery will probably be Allied forces of WW2. However there is a real shortage of U.S. ww2 vehicle pics at the moment. I have a number of French WW2 pics which i am dying to post up as well. Don't forget, it's public access, So Get Uploading! ...Jim

The first problem has arisen on the new Brit pages.... Several people have PM'ed me asking how to upload onto the galleries. What happens is when they try to upload, the British/Commonwealth galleries are not given as an optional destination for their pictures. How can this be resolved as logically the more who contribute the better.....Jim
