Hi folks,

Looking for a figure that I could use with the Bell D47 helicopter. I want a pilot standing outside the chopper talking to some Brits.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Korean War helo pilots wore standard fatigues...

Sometimes they wore an A-2 leather flight jacket as well...

They usually wore either no headgear or the Ridgeway hat (blocked baseball-style hat as on the pilot in his Bell 47 above) with headphones. Helmets were rarely worn.

A couple options. You could use any standing figure in fatigues. Maybe one with a pistol belt and either a 45 or a 38 on his side.

Another option is with the A-2 flying jacket. This would distinguish him more as a pilot. You could use the standing figures from the below set and paint their jackets to look like brown leather. I think the jackets are close enough; add pockets and swap out the head for one w/a Ridgeway hat and add some sunglasses - you would be good.

Looks like the upper torso on the guy on the right would work, with a headgear change.
