I bought my airbrush at currys art store http://www.currys.com/airbrush/index.asp
and my compressor at Sears for probably about 180 canadian dollars.
Just by a compressor with a regulator and a tank and the airbrush is personnal choice. I picked aztek for ease of use and eazy cleaning. My aztek is the 430 double action. A sweet spraying machine.

I use an Aztek 320 single action airbrush and I have been quite happy with it. I have had it for about a year and the easy to change and clean nozzles have been great. I must admit though, that I am thinking of upgrading to an Aztek double action airbrush. The best purchase I made though, was the Campbell Hausfield (not sure of that is spelled right) air compressor at Wal-Mart. It has a two gallon air tank and a pressure regulator and it works very well for airbrushing. I got it for $89.

I really like the Aztek A470. And, that Campbell-Hausfeld from Walmart is great. You can get the compressor for $89 and the A470 for between $89-$169.

Take a look at what Air Brush City has to offer. I have bought many different pieces of air brush equipment from them and have been very happy with their service and products. http://www.airbrushcity.com/
