Finally finished the dio. Sorry, for the lack of clarity of pics. I only owned a cheap digital camera.

Nice dio manchu. The cmo net looks really good. Gauze and herbs? What are those things for holding up the camo netting? Its a pity you cant get closer pics of the tow controls .. as they have a nice bit of detail. Good work using the driver as a relaxing soldier with bottle!
What did you make the wooden box from? It looks so real!
Some tracks from tyres and life on the dug-out floor would have added to the scene. Other than that, everything look great!
Nice one

Nice little dio there Ed!!
I only knew those things as camo net 'spreaders'. Metal poles and some type of fiberboard.

General Plasticbattle asked: The cmo net looks really good. Gauze and herbs? What are those things for holding up the camo netting? Its a pity you cant get closer pics of the tow controls .. as they have a nice bit of detail. What did you make the wooden box from?
Yes, I used 2 each 4x4 inch Gauze initially soaked in a white glue & water. Oncec dried I reapplied the glue/water mixture and applied Italian Seasoning Herbs. Once dired airbrushed the camou pattern on it.
The things holding up the nets are the camouflage support system used in the US Army. It consists of 4 foot sections of metal poles (joinable to crate various heights and three fiberglass spreaders, placed on top.
If I can borrow my brothers better digital camera or get some 35mm photos taken I'll upload to my gallery some photos with the details showing.
The reason the TOW missile crate looks so real is that I made it out of wood and wire. Found a website of a company that builds the TOW missile crates. D/L the photos and went from there. I used superglue to assembly it, stained it with "Mimwax" oak stain, and painted the wires black.

This was created using the RR Woodland Scenic's Fine Turf (Burnt and Green Grass, Soil, Earth) and Ballast Fine (Dark Brown). Some areas in a single layer, orthers built up into many layers, other areas it was a mixture of assorted types.
Thanks everyone for the comment Next is to help my son register here and sign up for the Jr. Campaign. Oncec that is done on to the M41A3 (Gunnie's donation) that I won here. I'm thinking of possible doing it as the M41A3 that I found on the inernet. It had side skirts similar to a Leopard. That is if I can find some better info and detail photos.
