Not according to any of my references, there are a couple of preserved ones in Australia but I don't know how they got there, possibly just shipped out for trials.

im almost certain they were'nt mate, nothing ive ever seen has made any reference to them,
i know the british used stuarts, grants, shermans and a few valentines in burma, and the australians used matildas, valentines, stuarts and shermans in new guinea
if your still on about building the tamiya churchill chip, then your limited to pretty much north west europe, and possibly italy, due to the mark of tank the model dipicts
cheers
joe

The whole design concept of the Churchill, was for a European conflict. The furthest east the Churchill was commited, was not in WW2, but in Korea, where a number of pics are available of Crocodiles in action...Jim

No the three tanks in NewGuinea were trialed there by the British. They were not Australian tanks at all.
Australian units in the pacific and Korea did not have Churchill tanks at all, so NO you can't have it in Australian markings
