Just picked up a can of Rust-o-Leum Sand. It appears to be a perfect match for interior panzer buff.

Edit: Color should be "shell white", not "sand".

"Shell white" sounds about right - elfinbein is a very light ivory or light cream color...
I still can't drive myself to use a rattle-can of any sort, let alone rattle Rust-o-Leum, on a styrene model! Some phobias are just whatever they are!

I understand your reservations. However, I have never had a bad experience, using lacquers(Floquil, Mr. Surfacer, Dullcoat, etc.). And, you can always decant it for hairy stick or ab use.
