'ANCIENT ONE' had the non-scalloped rings. Concord's Special Ops Vol.30 has a few pics of it, probably what they used for reference.

dunno if this'll be useful to anyone, but I've found on my AIM that removing 2 links off the trax will make for a better fit/appearance. as for Ancient One, managed to find 2 pix so far, both models, but there're slight differences between the 2 they can't be used as a guide. also, was part U36, crew heater cap thingie just forward on left hull sponson, used on Ancient One? thx

just a suggestion for part U18 NBC panel. might be best to fit it after the side armor is in place, as shown in the instructions. I had to pry mine off cuz it was JUST barely out of alignment with the armor mount hinges
