all credit to trumpeter - they pump out so many kits of artillery subjects ! I have built a few -- but you hardly see any builds of those subjects. Are they popular anywhere with anybody?

I believe the gun is actually a Type 59-1. Can anyone provide further info?

Hi! Regarding builds of all those TRUMPETER Guns and howitzers: You won't see many builds of these because of the overwhelming world-wide fetish for WWII German Tiger Is, Paper-Panzers, and other German stuff... Others will dispute this statement, but we ALL know it's true.

UP the US/ALLIED kits!!!

Goody, goody on the 130mm gun! Now I get to build the Iraqi T-55/130mm SPG (instead of stealing the breach from Trumpy's 152mm gun)!!

I decide to build German armored train, panzer zug. At least 5 vehicles would be needed. This project is very big project in my modeling life. I will start this project in this year with trumpeter kits. The first subject is armored locomotive.

Kudos to the folks at HobbyBoss, Mirror Models and MiniArt for contributing to the US Motor Pool with their many recent 1/35th scale US offerings!

HEAR, HEAR!!! You're right, Mike! We STILL more than just a few WWII US tanks and soft-skins, but at least we're finally seeing some action on the overall US/ALLIED market...
