Here is something else than the usual (most often great!) figures here. I know there is a separate 1:6 forum on the kitmaker network, but since it didn't see any post for a long time now I figured I would post it here. If this is a no-go, please move my post to a more suitable area or delete it.
That said, I'd like to show off my latest figures, a late war Wehrmacht Obergefreiter somewhere on the eastern front. I tried to give him that real 'We're on retreat for the last 1500km, I'm filthy, tired and just want to get home in one piece' look. All items, like the metal helmet, uniform, shovel etc are repainted and/or weathered, and the head is a painted resin headsculpt by Tony Barton (www.anthead.co.uk). The vignette on the background is made by somebody else, but it made a great backdrop for this figure!
Note the PE 'Kuban' campaign shield, made by Lion Roar.
This picture was made with a different camera. It shows the weathering of the clothing much better.
The head is painted with Vallejo, as is the rest of the gearthe Ppsh-41 and helmet. The clothing has been washed with a burned umber oil wash. The shovel and(real leather) Y-harness and boots, plus the uniform, have been weathered with Vallejo pigments.
Enjoy!

I can't answer about the proper forum thing but that fig is really nice!!! Great emotion shows through with your painting. Nice weather beaten touches as well.
