Hi friends,
maybe this is the best model of BTR-60 ever.
Start with suspension - 50 parts per wheel

Great build, got me tempted to start mine
Though it's still a mystery to me why Trumpeter hasn't included the same level of interior detail in the upper hull of the -70 or -80 kits.

I like your subtle weathering starting on the lower hull, looking forward to the procedure.

Chavdar, that's really a great job! For an out of the box kit it seems to have tons of detail. Fine job

Really nice build, very well done with attention to detail. I have to say there are some things, I should point out.
I am nearly sure that hatches (I mean those of driver and commander) should be fixed/locked vertically when open, there are small 90 degree "metal lips" parts of hinges and "rubber bumpers" on the roof armour...
Second thing, which makes me a bit puzzled, is position of commanders searchlight. That should be directly on his central periscope, which is movable and this searchlight moves paralelly.
I believe it should not be too painful to make corrections.
Are you going to add some marking, at least national recognition signs?

Hi Zdenek, you are right for all of the points
the hatches must be verticaly and the surchlight must be above the periscope . I made it that way, because my father's '60 had those "modifications" I do not know why, but on the white-black photo is that way
And about the national signs - before 40 years there were not even registration plates . . . one of kind
Cheers fella
